How Usage Is Calculated

Your bill is based on the volume of telemetry data (spans, logs, and metrics) sent to Trace0, at $0.60 per GB per month.

Measured at ingestion

Usage is recorded at the point data arrives at the Trace0 ingest endpoint.

Before compression

The uncompressed payload size is used — not the size of any transport-layer compression.

After decoding protobuf

Measurement is taken after the protobuf payload is decoded, reflecting the true data volume.
